The Long Beach State 49ers have once again scheduled big and if that wasn’t enough for them the draw Xavier here. LBSU took a loss in their last game as they fell to Washington by 10 points. Long Beach State is averaging 73.2 points and they are shooting 47.6 percent while defensively they are allowing 77.3 points and their opponents are shooting 42.6 percent. Michael Caffey leads Long Beach State averaging 18.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. Tyler Lamb is averaging 9.8 points and 5.4 rebounds, David Samuels is averaging 9.4 points and 5.3 rebounds, and Deontae North is averaging 8.0 points. Long Beach State lost at Xavier earlier this season by 23 points.

The Xavier Musketeers are 5-1 this season and they are coming off of their first loss losing to UTEP on Friday. XU led by five points at the half but the were unable to close the deal losing to the Miners. Xavier is averaging 85.8 points and they are shooting 54.1 percent including 40 percent from beyond the three-point arc while defensively they are allowing 67.8 points and their opponents shoot 45 percent. Trevon Bluett is averaging 17.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game to lead the Musketeers. Matt Stainbrook is averaging 15.5 points and 7.5 rebounds, Myles Davis is averaging 10 points, and Remy Abell is averaging 9.2 points. Xavier has a week off after this one facing Alabama next Sunday.
Long Beach State is 6-2-1 against the spread following a loss, 2-5 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 0-4 against the spread against the Big East.
