The Florida State Seminoles have split their last four games and are off to a rough start. On the season, Florida State is averaging 66.6 points on 45.8 percent shooting and is allowing 67 points on 41.8 percent shooting. Xavier Rathan-Mayes is averaging 14.3 points and four assists while Aaron Thomas is averaging 13.4 points on 41.5 percent shooting. Montay Brandon is the third FSU player averaging double-digit points and Phil Cofer is grabbing 4.4 rebounds per game. The Florida State Seminoles are shooting just 65.5 percent from the free throw line and 19.8 percent from downtown. Thomas and others have to get FSU going on the offensive end. Defensively, Florida State is still a dangerous team, forcing close to 15 turnovers and 55 or less points in two of their last three games.
The Knights are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and 6-15-1 ATS in their last 22 games overall. The Seminoles are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
Not sure what FSU did to deserve this chalk but I'm not buying it. UCF should keep this game closer.
