The Milwaukee Panthers pay a visit to the DePaul Blue Demons at Allstate Arena on Sunday.
The Milwaukee Panthers are hoping for a return to the Big Dance after a red hot finish ended with the Horizon championship. That is a tall order as it was completely unexpected last season. The Panthers are looking for their third straight win after stopping UMKC 65-56 Wednesday night with the defense putting the clamps on the Kangaroos who were held to 35.5% from the floor. The Panthers connected at 45% but this was close with 17 giveaways giving the Kangaroos 13 more shots. Steve McWhorter led all scorers with 17 points and nine rebounds with Cody Wichmann and Matt Tiby tossing in eleven point each with Tiby hauling in eleven boards.

If the DePaul Blue Demons keep winning then the experts might have t reconsider their last place predictions in the Big East. The Blue Demons have been riding their #30 offense that has racked up 79 points per game to a 5-1 record following 83-60 rout of Chicago State for win number three in a row. This was over midway through the first half with the Cougars staring at a 17 point deficit with only 36.7% shooting and 16 giveaways deciding their fate. The Blue Demons turned the ball over 22 times but survived behind 54% marksmanship and 32 makes at the foul line. Tommie Hamilton pumped in a game high 25 points and grabbed eight boards on 7-7 shooting with Myke Henry tossing in 12 points and snagging six pulls. Billy Garrett Jr. and Aaron Simpson added eleven points each while Darrick Wood chipped in with ten points.
The Panthers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 while going 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Milwaukee are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games. The Blue Demons are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 vs. Horizon League and are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a SU win of more than 20 points. DePaul has blowout potential and should win but I need to see more of Milwaukee before I can make an educated decision but I'll still take the points...
