Instate rivals the Bowling Green Falcons and the Dayton Flyers take the hardwood on Tuesday night.
The Bowling Green Falcons have gotten off to a solid start behind airtight defense that is allowing less then 57 points on 39% shooting. The flip side is the schedule hasn't been the toughest so that has certainly helped. The Falcons come off of a 64-47 rout of visiting Alabama A&M in a game that was never in doubt with a 14 point bulge at the break setting the tone. This was won on shooting accuracy with BGSU hitting at 50% and the Hornets at 35% which was a difference of eight field goals. Richaun Holmes led a trio of double digit scorers with 12 points and seven boards on 5-6 from the floor with Jehvon Clarke tossing in eleven points. Zack Denny and Spencer Parker added ten and eight points respectively with ten players scoring overall.

The Dayton Flyers are proving why they are a threat in the Atlantic Ten with an offense that is capable and a defense that has been more then capable. The Flyers have rattled off four consecutive victories following a 73-64 decision against visiting Eastern Michigan on Saturday with the 64 points being the most allowed in four contests. The Eagles connected at 37% and had 13 more looks but UD hit at nearly 46% and sank 13 more free throws although a 26-44 effort at the stripe was shaky at best. Jordan Sibert and Dyshawn Pierre paced a balanced attack with 15 points apiece and a combined 12 rebounds.
Kendall Pollard tossed in a team high 16 points and hauled in nine pulls followed by at ten point, eight pull and five assist performance by Scoochie Smith.
