The South Dakota State Jackrabbits take the hardwood with the Idaho State Bengals at Frost Arena.
The Idaho State Bengals don't figure to be a challenger in the Big Sky as middle of the row finish and a winning record would be a good season. The Bengals haven't gotten off to the fastest start at 3-5 but things have been looking up lately with wins in three of four. It's still tough to win when you score and allow 64 points which is why this team has a losing record. Scoring wasn't an issue in a 69-57 victory versus sub division NW Nazarene on Saturday. The Crusaders 39% from the field was no match for the Bengals 54% which was the winning stat as it added up to six more field goals. Jeffrey Solarin poured in a game high 20 points and hauled in 14 rebounds on 10-12 shooting. Chris Hansen followed with 17 points and seven assists while Nnamdi Ezenwa contributed 13 points and five yanks.

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits are thought to be a team that finishes just on the outside of the top four in the Summit League although I have a feeling this team is a factor in the conference. The Jackrabbits have the big offense to make a difference and they have been scoring during a four game winning streak. SDSU is coming off of an 87-85 victory versus Idaho which was nothing short of a track meet. Neither team missed often with the Vandals leading the shooting battle 60%-51%. The difference was the Jackrabbits 24-15 advantage at the charity stripe. Deondre Parks led all scorers with 20 points and six yanks with Reed Tellinghuisen next in line with 17 points. Cody Larson added 15 points, five pulls and five turnovers while Jake Bittle netted 13 points and handed out seven assists.
The Bengals are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Idaho State are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 neutral site games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. win. The Jackrabbits are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400 and 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. South Dakota State are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a S.U. win and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. This game is about pace and the slower and uglier the better Idaho State likes it. I'm laying the points because the Jackrabbits have shown shown ability in all areas but not consistent enough to bet...
