UAB vs. LSU - 12/18/14 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The UAB Blazers have lost four of their last six games and quickly sinking in the C-USA. On the season, UAB is averaging 63.4 points on 39.9 percent shooting and is allowing 67.8 points on 43.5 percent shooting. Robert Brown is averaging 12.4 points on 38.9 percent shooting and C.J. Washington is averaging 9.6 points and 5.3 rebounds. Tosin Mehinti is grabbing four rebounds per game and Tyler Madison is shooting 53 percent from the field. The UAB Blazers are also a long team that’s averaging 35.1 rebounds and producing 5.1 blocks per game. However, UAB has just one double-digit scorer and is shooting 29.9 percent from beyond the arc. Defensively, UAB is forcing 15.1 turnovers per game and holding teams to 31.4 percent shooting from deep.

The Tigers are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 vs. Conference USA and 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Blazers are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 vs. Southeastern and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win.

UAB doesn't have the athletes to compete with LSU at both ends of the court, especially on the offensive end. Look for the Tigers to win and cover the tiny spread.
