Cal vs. Washington - 1/2/15 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Washington Huskies are 11-1 this season and ranked 19th in the nation and are coming off of a major upset loss to Stony Brook on Sunday. Washington is averaging 70.8 points and they are shooting 44.5 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 58.7 points and their opponents are shooting 33.9 percent. Nigel Williams-Goss leads the Huskies averaging 13.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game. Andrew Andrews is averaging 12 points, Shawn Kemp Jr. is averaging 10.3 points, and Robert Upshaw is averaging 10.8 points and 7.4 rebounds. Washington will need to put last game’s loss in the rear view mirror.

Cal is 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five games following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread, 1-4-1 against the spread in their last six home games, and 2-12 against the spread against the Pac-12. Washington is 5-2 against the spread following a loss and 4-12-2 against the spread in their last 18 road games following three or more home games. The favorite has covered the point spread in five f the last six meetings of these two.

This should be a good game meaning a fun game for the fans, a tough one for the bettors who will sweat it out no matter what side they are on and in a coin toss I will take the home team laying less than three.
