The UNLV Rebels take the hardwood with the Nevada Wolf Pack at the Thomas & Mack Center.
The Nevada Wolpack had aspirations of cracking the top four in the Mountain West but they will certainly need to average more then 64 points for that to become reality. The Wolf Pack have looked dominant at both ends of the floor in winning three straight following an 80-62 rout of visiting Air Force on Saturday. A 13 point lead at the intermission propelled by 48% from the field and a 25-10 ede at the foul line was more then enough to take down the 46% shooting Falcons. Marqueze Coleman paced the attack with 18 points and five yanks with DJ Fenner next in line with 17 points. AJ West added 16 points and 13 rebounds followed by a combined 17 points from Robyn Missa and Michael Perez.

The UNLV Rebels always seem to have the talent that is capable of winning the Mountain West and 2014-15 doesn't appear to be any different. The Rebels have the potential to do well at both ends of the floor but have struggled to do so in consecutive defeats and especially so in Sunday's 76-61 loss at Kansas where the Rebels led by four at the break before falling apart late. The Jayhawks connected at around 45% but didn't miss many second half looks while UNLV hit at less then 41%. Christian Wood and Cody Doolin scored 12 points apiece with Wood grabbing eight boards while Doolin handed out seven helpers. Rashad Vaughn and Jelan Kendrick added ten points each with Patrick McCaw chipping in with nine points.
The Wolf Pack are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 road games following three or more consecutive home games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. Nevada are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Runnin' Rebels are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400 and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. UNLV are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 Wednesday games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.UNLV is far better then Nevada but the Wolf Pack have generally stayed within DD of the Rebels...
