The UC Riverside Highlanders open the Big West schedule with a visit from the Cal State Fullerton Titans.
The Big West can be a tricky conference to figure out and Cal State Fullerton looks tricky as well as they began the season slow but have won five in a row so which team are they? The Titans are coming off of a 67-55 victory over visiting Seattle on Saturday as they took a 15 point lead in to the locker room before going in to cruise control. Both teams connected at around 46% but CSF forced 14 turnovers to help total 12 more looks which added up to six more field goals. Alex Harris wa the big gun for the Titans offense with 19 points and six assists on 7-13 with Moses Morgan adding 17 points and six pulls. Lanerryl Johnson chipped in with another 13 points with eight others totaling 20 points.

The UC Riverside Highlanders are another team that is tough to nail down right now as they are staying competitive at 7-7 but where do they go from here is the question. Consistency seems like an issue with defeats in three of four following a 71-69 defeat at Grand Canyon on Sunday. The Antelopes connected at 46.5% and owned a 24-14 advantage at the charity stripe while the Highlanders stayed competitive despite 34.8% shooting because of 23 more looks at the basket. Jalen Bland exploded for a contest best 26 points nd five yanks on 9-21 from the field followed by a 15 point, eight rebound performance from Steven Thornton. Taylor Johns netted another ten points and grabbed nine boards before fouling out in 31 minutes.
The Titans are 7-15 ATS in their last 22 road games and 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 games following a S.U. win. CSF are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 road games following three or more consecutive home games and 7-21 ATS in their last 28 Thursday games. The Highlanders are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Thursday games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall while going 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. loss. I am not real confident in either team to be perfectly honest and just taking the points in a coin flip...
