The Daniel-Meyer Coliseum and the Texas Christian Horned Frogs face the #21 Baylor Bears.
The Baylor Bears have rode strong performances at both ends of the floor to a top 25 ranking but they need to bounce back from consecutive defeats to maintain their national ranking. The Bears fell to visiting Kansas 56-55 on Wednesday but the boxscore hints that Baylor let one get away. The Jayhawks connected at a solid 47% to outdistance the Bears 34% accuracy with eight bombs and an 11-3 advantage at the stripe keeping this game competitive. Kenny Chery was Baylor's only double digit scorer with a game high 25 points on 8-14 with Rico Gathers adding nine points and hauling in 13 rebounds. Lester Medford and Taurean Prince each scored eight points but Chery needed more help.

The Texas Christian Horned Frogs have built one of the more impressive records in the country but many will say their very weak strength of schedule is the reason. The Horned Frogs were 13-0 before losing consecutive games to West Virginia and then to Kansas State by a 58-53 count. TCU held a slight 41%-38% shooting advantage but 23 personals helped the Wildcats to a decisive 22-14 edge at the charity stripe. Trey Ziegler was the Horned Frogs go to scorer with 19 points on 7-14 from the floor with Kyan Anderson and Amric Fields scoring eight and seven respectively. The Horned Frogs ran a nine man rotation with eight finding the scoring column but not much in the way of impact offense.
The Bears are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS loss and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss. The Horned Frogs are 22-49 ATS in their last 71 home games and 17-38 ATS in their last 55 vs. Big 12. TCU are 7-16 ATS in their last 23 Saturday games and 7-17 ATS in their last 24 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. This line is lower then I expected and seems fishy but I believe the Horned Frogs can compete with Baylor. Either that or they get trashed...
