The Bowling Green Falcons shoot for a home win when the Ball State Cardinals come to the Stroh Center.
I think we might know which direction the Ball State Cardinals are headed in another six games or so but right now they are playing solid basketball. Having said that the Cardinals saw a four game winning streak come to an end in Wednesday's 95-93 overtime loss at Western Michigan as a 9.5 point underdog. Both teams connected in the 47%-48% and hit a combined 23 bombs. Zavier Turner was one of five double digit scorers on 8-13 shooting with Sean Sellers tossing in 18 points on 5-10 from the field. Franko House added 16 points, nine rebounds and five assists followed by Matt Kamieniecki and Jeremiah Davis III adding 12 and eleven points with Kamieniecki hauling in a contest high 13 rebounds.

The Bowling Green Falcons are similar to the counterparts in that we probably don't have a real good idea where this team is going until we see more of them. The Falcons were looking very good with four consecutive victories before getting tagged with a 67-50 defeat at Akron on Wednesday. BGSU were down 16 points after 20 minutes with the Zips holding their own until the final buzzer. The offense struggled to less then 33% shooting including 4-20 from beyond the arc while Akron seldom missed on nearly 55%. Bowling Green received a combined 21 points from Anthony Henderson and Richaun Holmes while Zack Denney and Jehvon Clarke added another 15 points. Not one of the ten man rotation shot 50%.
The Cardinals are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after scoring more than 90 points in their previous game. Ball State are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. The Falcons are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 and 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 home games. BGSU are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Cardinals are not in the same class as Bowling Green but this is a hard fought series so I'll take the points...
