The Drexel Dragons take on CAA foe the Delaware Blue Hens at the Bob Carpenter Center Saturday.
The Drexel Dragons have had extreme difficulty scoring the basketball which is the reason Bruiser Flint and crew is staring at a 3-13 record. The Dragons scoring woes continued in Thursday night's 54-35 loss to visiting James Madison with a 12 point first half setting the tone. The Dukes sank shots at 46% but gave the Dragons an opportunity to stay competitive with 17 turnovers to give the home team eleven more looks at the basket which didn't help at hall with Drexel's 24% marksmanship. Leading scorer Damion Lee led the offense with 14 points followed by the tandem of Tavon Allen and Rashann London with a combined 21 points with Allen snagging five boards.

The Delaware Blue Hens are a shadow of themselves when compared to last season as they struggle to both score and defend. That was bound to happen when the vast majority of production graduates which has the team near the bottom of the Colonial standings. The Blue Hens have won consecutive contests for the first time in 2014-15 with a 67-64, overtime victory versus Towson on Wednesday. UD didn't stand out with 39% accuracy with a 3-17 mark from beyond the arc doing them no favors. Fortunately the Tigers 35.7% shooting negated eight more shots making the Hens 26-15 advantage at the line decisive. Kory Holden led all scorers with 24 points and six assists in 43 minutes followed by Kyle Anderson and Cazmon Hayes with 12 points each with Hayes snaring eight boards while the starters scored all but two points.
The Dragons are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games after scoring less than 50 points in their previous game and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400.
