The Georgia State Panthers go on the road to take the floor with the Arkansas State Red Wolves.
The Georgia State Panthers might be reeling a bit from losses in three of their last five but I still think this team will be one of the top dogs in the Sun Belt when all is said and done. The Panthers are coming off of a 74-69 defeat at Appalachian State Saturday as an 11.5 point favorite. GSU appeared to be well on their way to an easy win with a ten point bulge at the break before the Mountaineers took over the second half. ASU was held to 36,7 from the floor while the Panthers burned the nets at 57.8% but the Mountaineers mustered ten more looks and owned a 12-3 advantage from long range. Ryan Harrow gave the offense 21 points on 9-14 shooting with RJ Hunter scoring 16 points on 5-10. Marcus Crider followed with 12 points and ten rebounds with Ryann Green chipping in with seven.

It's been hard to nail down the Arkansas State Red Wolves as the have looked good, bad and mediodre at times so I guess we could some consistency is needed if they want to crack the top four in the conference. The Red Wolves have won back to back contests after knocking off visiting Teas State by a 78-73 count in overtime Saturday. The Bobcats were limited to just 34% from the field while ASU countered with 45% but Texas State stayed competitive on nine more looks at the basket while sinking three more bombs. Anthony Livingston led all scorers with 24 points and hauled in 15 rebounds on 9-14 shooting in 44 minutes while Cameron Golden scored 22 points, grabbed five boards and handed out five assists. Nouhoum Bocoum followed with 14 points with Sean Gardner contributed another nine points.
The Panthers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following a S.U. loss. Georgia State are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. Sun Belt. The Red Wolves are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win and 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win. Arkansas State are 6-13-1 ATS in their last 20 games overall and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. I was honestly expecting more points for the Red Wolves because I have this closer to nine so maybe the line rises...
