The Nevada Wolf Pack shoot for a Mountain West win versus the visiting Utah State Aggies Tuesday.
The Utah State Aggies have dreams of cracking the top four in the Mountain West and that is a distinct possibility although they likely need more scoring punch then 65 points per game. The Aggies bounced back from back to back defeats to down visiting Air Force 71-59 on Saturday as a 6.5 point favorite. USU led by ten going to the locker room and held serve throughout the final 20 minutes. The Falcons were limited to 41.5% from the field while Utah State fired away at 54% including a 13-23 performance from long range. Chris Smith gave the offense 20 points and five assists on a 6-7 effort on threes with Jalen Moore tossing in 15 points and grabbing six pulls. Darius Perkins added eleven points, five yanks and ten helpers followed by a combined 17 points from David Collette and JoJo McGlaston.

The Nevada Wolf Pack are being outscored 66-63 which has a lot to do with how their record is 6-10. The Wolf Pack appeared to have found the groove before back to back defeats capped off by a 98-42 loss at conference power Colorado State on Wednesday. The Rams exploded to a 35 point lead at the intermission and continued to press the issue until the final buzzer. CSU burned the nets at 57% and sank 13-24 threes to overshadow Nevada's 32.7% accuracy and 1-10 perfomance from beyond the arc while posting ten more looks at the basket which were not needed. AJ West was the only player reach double figures with ten points and nine rebounds while four players scored between 4-6 points. Eleven found the scoring column but the scoreboard says more was needed.
The Aggies are 21-5 ATS in their last 26 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400 and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 vs. Mountain West while going 40-18-1 ATS in their last 59 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. The Wolf Pack are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games after allowing more than 90 points in their previous game and 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 games following a SU loss of more than 20 points. Nevada are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games overall and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games. Utah State has done well in this match up and are 5-1 ATS in Nevada so I'll back them...
