The Hofstra Pride look to get in the win column when the Drexel Dragons visit the Mack Sports Complex.
The Drexel Dragons are looking to right the ship and the main reason is a lack of scoring punch as 57 points is extremly tough to win with. The Dragons did take a step in the right direction in a 66-62 victory at Delaware wher a 13 point lead going to the intermission was enough to hold off a late Blue Hens push. The dragons held the Hens to 41% from the field while sinking shots at around 45%. An extra three and poor foul shooting by Delaware enabled Drexel to up their record to 2-4 in the conference. Leading scorer Damion Lee tossed in a game high 17 points and pulled down eleven rebounds with Tavon Allen scoring 13. Tyshawn Myles added eleven points and eleven boards with Sammy Mojica and Rashann London combining for 17 points.

The Hofstra Pride might be the most improved team in the conference and much of the credit goes the number 18 offense in the country that is averaging 79 points. The points have been easy to comeby for opponents the last two times out in losses that have the Pride sitting at 4-2 capped off by Saturday's 79-74 defeat at the hands of visiting North Carolina-Wilmington. A 46 point second half wiped out the Prides five point lead with the Seahawks using 47% shooting along with 14 more looks at the basket to edge out the 41% shooting home team that lost despite eleven more free throws. Ameen Tanksley led five double digit scorers with 19 points and eight boards while Juan'ya Green and Moussa Kone netted 14 points each with Kone posting seven boards. Dion Nesmith and Malik Nichols rounded out the scoring with eleven points each.
The Dragons are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games overall and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 vs. Colonial Athletic Association. Drexel are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS win. The Pride are 5-1-2 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record and 4-1-2 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. Hofstra are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. Colonial Athletic Association. I've resigned myself to the fact that Drexel is going to win a few games but I don't know when and I think they don't either...
