The Line: Saint Peter's Peacocks -3.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Saint Peter's Peacocks look to pick up a win against the Quinnipiac Bobcats at the Yanitelli Center.
The time is now for the Quinnipiac Bobcats to string some wins together to make themselves a threat in the MAAC as they are currently 3-3 in the conference. When the Bobcats are successful both ends of the floor are usually on the same page although it was the offense that provided the spark in Sunday's 72-71 win at Marist. Both teams connected in the 45% range with a 3-18 effort from distance hurting the visitors who mustered seven more shots which turned in to three baskets while owning a +17 on the backboards. Zaid Hearst pumped in a game high 27 points on 10-22 with Ousmane Drame soring 17 points on 8-11 shooting. Samuel Dingba snared ten rebounds with nine players finding the scoring column altogether.

The Saint Peter's Peacocks look as if they have taken a step towards improvement in 2014-15 but their 9-10 record says more is needed. The slow footed Peacocks score and give up around 61 points so anytime a game nears the upper 60's they alarms go off. SPC is looking to bounce back from Friday's 72-65, overtime loss to visiting Manhattan. The Jaspers led the shooting battle 44%-42% but the game was even in most areas except from beyond the arc where Manhattan was 7-19 and the Peacocks were 3-14. Marvin Dominique led three double digit scorers with 16 points and five pulls on 7-10 while Elias Desport and Desi Washington combined for 21 points and 12 rebounds. Tyler Gaskins and Rodney Hawkins tossed in seven points in a very balanced attack.
The Bobcats are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. Quinnipiac are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 vs. Metro Atlantic Athletic and 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games following a S.U. win. The Peacocks are 16-35-1 ATS in their last 52 games following a S.U. loss and 10-24-1 ATS in their last 35 games following a ATS loss. Saint Peter's are 19-46-1 ATS in their last 66 vs. Metro Atlantic Athletic and 8-27-1 ATS in their last 36 home games. I am not a fan of Quinnipiac because they seem capable of rbounding and nothing else but both teams are similar so I'll take the points although the line seems light...
