The #24 Oklahoma Sooners look for a home win against the Texas Tech Red Raiders in a Big 12 tilt.
The Texas Tech Red Raiders are keeping their heads above water with an 11-9 record but they have been having a great deal of trouble scoring the basketball in conference play with a 1-6 mark with the lone win coming Saturday in a 78-73 victory versus Iowa State as a nine point underdog. The offense came to life to give the Red Raiders an eleven point lead at the break and the Cyclones never recovered. ISU held a 43%-41.5% shooting edge and totaled ten more looks but TT was 11-24 from distance and sank ten more free throws. Devaugntah Williams led all scorers with 22 points with six pulls followed by a 17 point effort from Toddrick Gotcher. Robert Turner added 13 points and ten rebounds while eight players found the scoring column.

The Oklahoma Sooners were very impressive in their non conference schedule but not so much in conference action where the team has lost four of five to stand at 3-4 in the Big 12. The Sooners never got their offense cranked up in a 69-58 defeat at Baylor to split the season series. OU connected at 38.7% with a 6-24 effort on threes and only attempted seven free throws. The Bears had no such problems as they sank half their looks including 9-19 from long range. The Sooners were balanced at the offensive end but not expllosive with the tandem of Buddy Hield and Jordan Woodard netting 12 points each with Woodard postin six assists. TaShawn Thomas and Ryan Spangler contributed ten points each with Spangler grabbing seven boards while Isaiah Cousins chipping in with eight points.
The Red Raiders are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Texas Tech are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 vs. Big 12 and 2-7 ATS in their last 9 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. The Sooners are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games following a ATS loss and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 home games. Oklahoma are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games following a S.U. loss and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. My thoughts are the Sooners win big if they play as they did to get ranked and don't otherwise...
