The Western Illinois Leathernecks look to begin a hot streak beginning with the IUPUI Jaguars Friday.
At the risk of beating a dead hose, winning consistently when getting outscored just isn't going to happen an the IUPUI Jaguars know that from experience with just 60 points scored and 67 given up. The Jaguars did get everything going on the same page in a 65-50 victory over visiting South Dakota with a 36-15 first half explosion essentially winning this one with the Coyotes unable to generate much on 35% shooting. Indiana-Purdue had no such issues on nearly 59% marksmanship for eight more field goals. DavRon Williams led a balanced attack with eleven points and seven rebounds followed Mason Archie II with ten. The tandem of DJ McCall and Aaron Brennan netted eight points apiece while ten players found the scoring column with the Jaguars going to the bench with the huge lead.

The Western Illinois Leathernecks are in the same boat as their counterparts as they have been outscored 70-63 with the offense in a deep funk right now. While the entire nine man rotation found the scoring column nobody else scored more then three points.
