The North Carolina State Wolfpack look for a road win versus the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack are a dangerous team but look like a bubble team at best at 14-9. The Wolfpack put an end to a three game slide with an 81-80, overtime win at Georgia Tech but those three defeats really damaged their NCAA hopes. The Wolfpack squandered a nine point halftime lead although the numbers say this shouldn't have been that close with the Pack hitting at 48% including 10-22 from distance while the Yellow Jackets stayed close on 39.7% accuracy with eleven more looks and six more free throws. Anthony Barber gave the Wolfpack 23 points and seven helpers with a 19 point, six pull effort from Trevor Lacey. Kyle Washington and Ralston Turner contributed 14 and eleven points with 14 points coming from the rest of the team.

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are not going to approach the upper half of the conference and need to go on a prolonged hot streak to secure a winning record and perhaps an invite to one of the postseason tournaments. The Demon Deacons score 70 points and give up 70 points which are numbers that don't work in the ACC. WF snapped a four game skid with a 73-70 win versus visting Virginia Tech on Saturday where the game was about dead even exceptfor a 45.5%-43% shooting edge that gave Wake three more baskets. Codi Miller-McIntyre led all scorerd with 19 points on 7-7 shooting while Konstantinos Mitoglou and Mitchell Wilbekin netted 15 points apiece. Devin Thomas and Madison Jones combined for 17 points with Thomas pulling in eight rebound and posting five helpers.
The Wolfpack are 2-0-2 ATS in their last 4 road games and 2-0-2 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. NC State are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record and 18-6-2 ATS in their last 26 vs. Atlantic Coast. The Demon Deacons are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win and 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Wake Forest are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Wolfpack can kiss their NCAA hopes goodbye if they don't right the ship and history says NC State has done well here...
