The Ball State Cardinals look to get in the win column when the Buffalo Bulls come to Worthen Arena.
Early in the conference schedule I thought the Buffalo Bulls might be one of the teams to watch in the MAC and they still could be at 5-3 because that's right in the middle. The Bulls have performed well in consecutive victories and especially so in Saturday's 80-55 rout of Kent State. UB jumped on the Golden Flashes for a monster 20 point lead at the half and cruised to victory behind 48% marksmanship that included 12 more attempts versus the 34% accuracy of Kent State. Xavier Ford paced the offensive explosion with a game high 25 points and nine rebounds on 9-14 from the field while Justin Moss added 13 points and nine pulls. Shannon Evans and Jarryn Skeete tossed in 12 and eight points with Lamonte Bearden and Raheem Johnson scoring seven points each.

After opening the conference schedule at 2-0 the Ball State Cardinals have dropped six straight with a lack of consistency at both ends of the floor hurting them at one time of another. It was the defense that let the team down Saturday in a 79-76 defeat at Miami (Ohio) where the visitors were up by eight at the half before the Redhawks went wild with a 49 point second hald behind 56.5% accuracy that included 12 more makes at the foul line. The Cardinals sank shots at a 58% pace and were 14-24 from long range but also hurt themselves with 17 turnovers. Sean Sellers and Franko House kept the team competitive with 15 points apiece on a combined 11-15 from the floor while Matt Kamieniecki tossed in ten points and posted five yanks. Rocco Belcaster and Jeremiah Davis III added eight points each with the entire eight man rotation scoring.
The Bulls are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. Buffalo are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 22-10 ATS in their last 32 games following a S.U. win. The Cardinals are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 Wednesday games and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss. Ball State are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS loss and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. This is the Bulls best team in a few years and they do well in this match up so...
