The UC Irvine Anteaters are a solid all around squad that can also score and defend which is why they have won five in a row. The Anteaters have outscored the opposition 70-62 so they can win any number of ways and are obviously dangerous when both teams are on the same page. Both ends of the floor were at their best in a 77-55 rout of visiting UC Santa Barbara with UCI taking a ten point lead with them in to the locker room and continuing to press the issue until the final horn sounded. The Gauchos were limited to 36.5% accuracy whil the Anteaters burned the nets at 51% including an 11-22 effort from beyond the arc. Alex Young and Luke Nelson paced UC Irvine with eleven points apiece while Travis Souza, Jaron Martin and Ioannis Dimakopoulos scored nine points apiece.
The Aggies are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. Big West. UC Davis are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. win and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win. The Anteaters are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win and 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS win. UC Irvine are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. I don't get this line unless there are injuries so I'm on the Aggies...
