The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks welcome the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks to the Show Me Center.
The Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks are one of the most improved squads in the Ohio Valley at 7-3 but their problem is they reside in the West Division of the conference where Murray State is king. The Skyhawks can score and defend but needed their defense to come up big in a 64-59 victory versus visiting SIU-Edwardsville on Staurday. The Cougars were limited to less then 36% whiile the Skyhawks sank shots at 45% which was equal to four more baskets. Marshun Newell gave the offense 18 points and hauled in a gane high ten rebounds with Alex Anderson netting 15 points. Richard Lee followed with 12 points while four others combined for 19 points.

The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks are fighting to keep their heads above water although I think they are more of a spoiler at this point with a 5-6 conference record. The goal is to finish the year with a winning record which is well within grasp and the Redhawks took a step in that direction in Saturday's 68-64 win over Eastern Illinois. The Panthers held a slight 43%-40% edge but SEMO turned 15 giveaways and ten offensive rebounds in to eight more shot attempts with five more makes at the line carrying the day. Marcus Wallace paced the Redhawks offense with 18 points on 6-9 from the floor followed by JJ Thompson with eleven points. Nino Johnson and Antonio Cleveland tossed in ten points apiece and combined for 22 rebounds while Jarekious Bradley chipped in with nine points.
The Skyhawks are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Tennessee-Martin are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Redhawks are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS loss and 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. SEMO are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 3-14-1 ATS in their last 18 home games. The small spread looks fishy to me but the Skyhawks need this one...
