The Weber State Wildcats hope to get in the win column when the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks visit.
The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks score and allow 68 points but they have been playing well above those numbers lately and the reward is 4th in the Big Sky with a 7-4 record. The surging Lumberjacks have won seven of ten but look to bounce back from Thursday's 80-66 defeat at Idaho State. The Bengals jumped out to a ten point lead and NAU didn't have the firepower to catch up with 38% accuracy and 15 giveaways unable to compete with Idaho State's nearly 54% marksmanship. The Lumberjacks received 24 points from Quinton Upshur with Kris Yanku tossing in 17 points posting a contest high seven turnovers. Aaseem Dixon followed with 12 points with five others contributing just 13 points.

It appears the Weber State Wildcats are not going to be challenging for the Big Sky title which has been a familiar sight in past years as this team looks as if they are trying to rebuild on the fly but need more time. The blame for the fall from grace seems to be not enough scoring as the defensive end of the floor has generally been competitive in conference play. That was the trend in Thursday's 65-56 loss to visiting Southern Utah on Thursday although the Thunderbirds sank shots at 49%. This was still all about the offense with only 27% accuracy with the Wildcats just not shooting well because SUU isn't a great defense. Chris Golden and Richaud Gittens gave the offense 13 points apiece with Gittens posting seven boards while James Hajek and Kyndahl Hall combined for 17 points and 15 rebunds.
The Lumberjacks are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 road games. NAU are 3-1-2 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 3-1-2 ATS in their last 6 vs. Big Sky. The Wildcats are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. Big Sky. Weber State are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games. Northern Arizona is playing well and stays in the top four with a win here...
