The Wyoming Cowboys hope to get back on track when the San Jose State Spartans visit Arena-Auditorium.
When a team has just two wins at this point in the season there is more then just a single problem and for the San Jose State Spartans the problems are at both ends of the floor but with 53 points scored on average I'd say the offense has the most issues. The Spartans fell to 0-11 in the conference in a 60-57 loss to visiting Nevada on Saturday with the team falling behind by seven after 20 minutes but managing to hang around by holding visitors to 35% from the field an 0-9 on threes. SJSU didn't take advantage with 31% marksmanship and a 5-26 mark from distance. Darryl Gaynor II poured in a game high 25 points and snagged seven boards with Rashad Muhammad netting ten points. Jaleel Williams added eight points and seven rebounds with Brandon Mitchell grabbing a team best eight boards.

The Wyoming Cowboys were the top team in the Mountain West but without leading scorer Larry Nance Jr. the team has dropped consecutive contests and have fallen to 4th after a 61-47 defeat at San Diego State on Wednesday. This was over in a blink of an eye with the Aztecs storming to a 36-14 lead after 20 minutes with the shutdown SDSU defense limiting the Cowboys to 35% shooting with a 3-26 performance from beyond the arc sealing their fate. The Aztecs connected at nearly 44% and were 10-20 on threes with seven more looks at the basket. Derek Cooke Jr. paced the Wyoming offense with 13 points and six boards followed by a 12 point, five pull effort from Josh Adams. The rest of the team managed 16 points with the scoring taking a hit without Nance.
The Spartans are 17-42-3 ATS in their last 62 games overall and 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. San Jose State are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 14-39-3 ATS in their last 56 games following a S.U. loss. The Cowboys are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss. Wyoming are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 and 3-12-2 ATS in their last 17 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. Neither team covers spreads and Wyoming is a huge favorite without Nance so think before betting this...
