The Memphis Tigers are trying to stay afloat after splitting their last eight games. On the season, Memphis is averaging 67.3 points on 44.3 percent shooting and is allowing 61.3 points on 38.9 percent shooting. Trashon Burrell is averaging 8.7 points and 5.3 rebounds while Shaq Goodwin is averaging 8.5 points and seven rebounds. Defensively, Memphis is allowing 29.7 percent shooting from deep and has given up 64 or less points in four straight games.
The Huskies are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Tigers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall.
Memphis is a team that will continue to struggle to score without its best player on the court. Meanwhile, UConn needs a game like this to give them confidence heading into the AAC tournament. In a defensive game that should come down to the wire, I'll take the Huskies and the best overall player in Boatright in an outright victory.
