The #17 Oklahoma Sooners go for the sweep of the Texas Tech Red Raiders when they visit the United Spirit Arena.
The Oklahoma Sooners are not going to win the Big 12 title but they have four games remaining to perhaps move up a few spots in the national rankings but in reality this team is playing for seeding in the Big Dance. The Sooners bounced back from a loss to Kansas State with a 71-69 victory versus visiting Texas on Tuesday. The Longhorns did their damage on 43.6% shooting while OU survived 36% marksmanship by turning 18 Texas personals in to a 19-13 edge. The Sooners received 13 points and five helpers from Jordan Woodard with Bobby Hield tossing in 13 points. Frank Booker and Dinjiyl Walker netted ten points apiece while TaShawn Thomas and Ryan Spangler combined for 17 points with Spangler snagging nine rebounds.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are scoring just 60 points on the season which isn't nearly enough to compete with the strong scoring squads found in the Big 12 and their current standing in the conference basement tells that story. The Red Raiders are in the midst of a four game slide after a 54-49 loss to visiting Baylor although it was a solid effort with the Bears leading by eight at the half but unable to pull away. A strong Bears attack was held to 39% accuracy and forced in to 16 turnovers which enabled the Red Raiders to stay competitive on 35% marksmanship. Devaughntah Williams paced the offense with 15 on 5-10 from the floor with Zach Smith tossing in ten points. Norense Odiase added nine points and nine rebounds with Toddrick Gotcher chipping in with ten points.
The Sooners are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win and 20-6-1 ATS in their last 27 Saturday games. Oklahoma 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games following a ATS loss and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Red Raiders are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Texas Tech are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 vs. Big 12 and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games. I don't like the big number on the road but I'm siding with potential...
