The DakotaDome and the South Dakota Coyotes play host to the Denver Pioneers in a Summit League tilt.
The Denver Pioneers look like 6th place in the Summit League will be their final resting place unless they win their two remaining contests and South Dakota and Oral Roberts lose both of their games. Consistent scoring has not been a strength and it has caught up to them with a 59-46 victory at Western Illinois keeping their hopes of moving up the conference standings alive. A 35-26 second half run put a close game in the win column with the Pioneers owning a 44%-40% shooting advantage adding up to three more baskets while a few more threes and free throws put the Leatherbacks away. Cam Griffin and Nate Engesser tossed in 14 points apiecd and combined for 15 rebounds while Marcus Byrd netted ten points. Brett Olson chipped in with nine points with three others posting 12 points.

The South Dakota Coyotes are tied for 4th with Oral Roberts in the conference so there is zero room for error. The overall numbers say the Coyotes score and allow 70 points but over the last six contests both ends of the floor have been at their best which has led to wins in five of six. Indiana-Purdue was dominated at both ends of the floor in a 77-62 decision on Saturday. A 37-25 late run broke the game open as 43% shooting and 21 more shots overcame the 53% marksmanship of the Jaguars who were hurt by 17 turnovers and 15 South Dakota offensive rebounds. Tyler Larson gave the Coyotes 21 points and a game high 13 boards while Tre Burnette added 12 points and six steals. Trey Noris and Brandon Bos netted eleven points apiece with Casey Kasperbauer chipping in with eight points.
The Pioneers are 17-43-1 ATS in their last 61 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. Denver are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 vs. Summit and 4-13 ATS in their last 17 games following a S.U. win. The Coyotes are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. Summit. South Dakotare 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. I think the way to look at this is South Dakota is hot and needs this game so I'll lay the small chalk...
