Rhode Island couldn't take advantage of the VCU loss and dropped a heart-breaker at home against Davidson to make it a three-way tie at the top of the A-10 standings. La-Salle couldn't get anything going on the offensive end in this one and now have dropped three of their last 4. Both of these teams can really struggle offensively and rely on their defensives to give them a chance for the win. Rhode Island has to be disappointed with their recent loss as they held the hot-shooting Davidson Wildcats to just 3-19 from beyond the arc, and still couldn't pull out the victory as they shot a dreadful 1-19 from three-point range. Although I think the Rhode Island is the better team here, La-Salle is very tough at home and I just don't see Rhode Island finding their offensive at La-Salle. I'm taking the Explorers at home to cover this small spread.
