Loyola (IL) shot 61.5% from the field and 57.1% (8-14) from beyond the arc in the victory. Leading the way for the Ramblers was Christian Thomas who had 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists. On the season, the Ramblers have been led by Christian Thomas (11.2 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 0.8 apg) and Montel James (9.2 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 0.5 bpg). The Bears are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning home record and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a S.U. win. The Ramblers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
Missouri State was able was able to rebound from their 35 point loss at Drake to defeat Bradley in an exciting triple OT game. Loyola (IL) snapped a 2 game losing streak with an OT victory against Drake behind a strong offensive performance. Both teams have really struggled scoring the ball and both are without their leading scorers as Missouri State's Marcus Mitchell (19.5 ppg) left the team in early January and Milton Doyle (11.5 ppg, 4.2 apg) has been out due to injury. I'm expecting this game to be low scoring as I have no faith in Missouri State scoring against a strong defense and I think Loyola (IL) will be able to do enough with their efficient shooting on the offensive end to win this one easily.
Their currently isn't a spread for this game but unless Loyola (IL) is favored heavily, I'm backing Loyola (IL) in this one.
