The Huskies are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. loss and 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games overall. The Owls are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. win and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games.
The UConn Huskies couldn't follow up their big victory against the SMU Mustangs and had their three-game winning streak snapped. Temple cruised to an easy victory against Eastern Carolina and now has won 9 of their last 11 games. UConn has struggled offensively all season and although they have one of the best point-guards in the country in Ryan Boatright, this team can struggle findings ways to get the ball in the basket. Temple boasts on the best defenses in the American Conference, however, similar to UConn has trouble finding offensive from anyone besides Will Cummings. Temple was able to defeat UConn earlier this season (57-53 OT) and as Temple still has a change for an at-large bid, this game is a bit more important to them as UConn knows at this point that they'll need to win the conference tournament to get a bid into March Madness. I see another low scoring game here, but I think Temple does enough to cover this spread at home.
