The New Mexico Lobos need a win after losing eight of their last nine games. Hugh Greenwood is averaging 11.5 points and 3.3 assists while Devon Williams is averaging 6.9 points and 3.4 rebounds. Obij Aget is grabbing 5.3 rebounds and Sam Logwood is dishing 1.1 assists. The New Mexico Lobos have four players averaging at least 6.3 points, and they’re shooting 66.1 percent from the line and 30.7 percent from deep. Defensively, New Mexico is allowing 31.2 percent shooting from deep and has given up 66 or less points in seven of its last 10 games.
Although New Mexico is banged up and will struggle offensively, the Lobos defense should lead them to a victory and a cover. Air Force has just been too inconsistent and is coming off some bad losses. I like the Lobos and the small chalk.
