Alabama also struggled at the free throw line shooting 55.6%. Alabama seemed to have struggle a little bit with what should have been a blow out victory. It was there first game so we will see what they are made of against a good Dayton Flyers team.
Alabama is 1-4 against the spread in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning percentage abouve.600. The Crimson Tide are 15-5-2 against the spread in their last 22 Tuesday games. Dayton is 5-1 against the spread in their last 6 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. The Flyers are 9-2 against the spread in their last 11 games vs. a team from the South East.
This will be the first real test for both of these teams. Dayton looked better than Alabama in their opening game and thats why they are the favorite here. Dayton is a better shooting team than Alabama and i think that will be the difference here at home for the Flyers. I expect this to be a close game early but with Dayton winning by double digits in the end. Take Dayton to cover at home.
