Many have the Fresno State Bulldogs penciled in the Mountain West top four and it’s been so far, so good as the team upped their record to 2-0 following an 80-72 victory versus a stubborn Lamar. The Cardinals won the shooting battle 44%-36% but were outscored 28-16 at the stripe and their 16 turnovers helped the Bulldogs to 16 more looks at the basket. The duo of Torren Jones and Marvelle Harris poured in 19 points apiece to pace Fresno with Jones hauling in 12 rebounds. Karachi Edo and Cullen Russo tossed in ten points each and combined for 17 rebounds with the entire eight man rotation scoring.
San Francisco are 30-12 ATS in their last 42 Thursday games and are 42-19-1 ATS in their last 62 road games. The over is 6-2 in Fresno State’s last 8 home games and the under is 8-3 in their last 11 non-conference games while the over is 7-3 in their last 10 vs. West Coast. Tough call here with easy schedules telling us nothing so I’ll take the points…
