The Line: Marquette Golden Eagles +3 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

The Iowa Hawkeyes and Marquette Golden Eagles meet Thursday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

The Iowa Hawkeyes look for a big road win to improve to 3-0 on the season. The Iowa Hawkeyes are averaging 89.5 points on 48.9 percent shooting and allowing 63.5 points on 32.1 percent shooting. Jarrod Uthoff is averaging 17 points and 6.5 rebounds while Brady Ellingson is averaging 12 points and two rebounds. Dom Uhl is the third double-digit scorer and Dale Jones is grabbing 5.5 rebounds. The Iowa Hawkeyes are shooting 36.5 percent from beyond the arc and are averaging 46 rebounds per contest. Iowa is playing well at both ends but this will be a step up over past matches against Gardner-Webb and Coppin State. Iowa has won four of its last five road games.

Marquette vs. Iowa - 11/19/15 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Marquette Golden Eagles look for a statement win after a rocky 1-1 start to the year. The Marquette Golden Eagles are averaging 77.5 points on 43.7 percent shooting and allowing 77 points on 42.4 percent shooting. Henry Ellenson is averaging 19.5 points and 9.5 rebounds while Duane Wilson is averaging 14.5 points and 3.5 assists. Luke Fischer is grabbing 10 rebounds and Sandy Cohen III is dishing two assists. The Marquette Golden Eagles lost to Belmont by three points and needed overtime to knock off IUPUI. The struggles for Marquette start with 20.9 percent shooting from deep and the 15.5 turnovers per game. The Golden Eagles continue to rely on defense and rebounding, as Marquette lacks consistent offense.

The Hawkeyes are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games and 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Golden Eagles are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 home games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 non-conference games.

Iowa is simply the better team on both sides of the ball, as Marquette continues to struggle offensively. The Hawkeyes are a rock as far as consistency is concerned and should be able to wear down the Golden Eagles. Give me Iowa to win and cover the small number.
