The Line: Bradley -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Seton Hall Pirates and Bradley Braves play Friday night at the TD Arena in the Charleston Classic.
The Seton Hall Pirates look to bounce back after losing 80-77 Thursday to Long Beach State. In the loss, Seton Hall allowed 55.4 percent shooting and forced 16 turnovers. Isaiah Whitehead led the Pirates with 21 points and four assists while Desi Rodriguez had 11 points and six rebounds. The Seton Hall Pirates had their defensive demons return, as this is a team that allowed 75 or more points in five of their last eight games last season. Still, despite the great game by the 49ers, Seton Hall still managed to hang around and is a team that shot 52.1 percent from the field in its first two games. The Seton Hall Pirates still know they can build on something here, especially with a tough out of conference schedule coming up soon.

The Bradley Braves look to get back to .500 after losing Thursday to Virginia, 82-57. In the loss, Bradley allowed 56.6 percent shooting and turned the ball over 13 times. Luuk van Bree led the Braves with 16 points and three rebounds while Ka'Darryl Bell had seven points and two assists off the bench. The Bradley Braves have taken their last two games on the chin but games against Arizona and Virginia are only going to get them ready for MVC play. Bradley is a team that’s loaded with freshmen and will clearly struggle on the offensive end. However, the Bradley Braves have nowhere to go but up after winning just nine games last season. A win here would go a long way for Brian Wardle and his young team.
The Pirates are 15-3 ATS in their last 18 non-conference games and 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Braves are 5-16-1 ATS in their last 22 non-conference games and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 vs. Big East.
Bradley is simply not a very good basketball team and will struggle to keep up with the athletes of Seton Hall. I expect the Pirates to step up and win this game by dobule digits.
