The Central Michigan Chippewas and Milwaukee Panthers square off Wednesday afternoon at the Germain Arena.
The Central Michigan Chippewas are coming off a Tuesday loss to Western Kentucky, 88-60. In the loss, CMU shot 30.7 percent from the field and allowed 52.5 percent shooting. Braylon Rayson led the Chippewas with 13 points and five rebounds while Austin Stewart had 10 points and five rebounds. The Central Michigan Chippewas have now lost two straight after starting the season with back-to-back wins, and it starts with a lack of offense. Central Michigan has combined for only 120 points in its last two games and is shooting under 33 percent from beyond the arc. The Central Michigan Chippewas have to find their rhythm before conference play begins.

The Milwaukee Panthers are coming off a Tuesday overtime loss to Duquesne, 96-92. In the loss, Milwaukee shot 43.3 percent from the field and allowed 64.8 percent shooting. Matt Tiby led the Panthers with 29 points and two rebounds while Austin Arians had 21 points and three assists. The Milwaukee Panthers have lost three of their last four games after starting the year off with three straight victories. Milwaukee has scored at least 71 points in six of its seven games and is shooting 36.7 percent from downtown. The Milwaukee Panthers need a feel good victory after such a painful loss on Tuesday.
The Panthers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games overall. The Chippewas are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 non-conference games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. Horizon League.
There's no line yet and due to the game being so early, updating this would be pointless. However, the Milwaukee Panthers are the better team right now and have an offense that is sure to give the Chippewas problems. I like the Panthers to be the team here that gets back on track.
