The Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans take the floor with the East Carolina Pirates on Thanksgiving day.
The Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans are a bit of a mystery as they could challenge for a top four spot in the Sun Belt or they might be on the outside looking in. After knocking off a pair of sub division squads the Trojans improved to 3-0 with a 49-43 win versus San Diego State which open some eyes. The Trojans held a 35%-28% shooting edge and forced 15 turnovers to squeeze out a few more shots. Josh Hagins was the Trojans lone double digit scorer with 14 points and six boards with Jermaine Ruttley adding nine points and seven rebounds. Altogether six player were able to score at least six points.

The East Carolina Pirates are predicted to fight for a middle of the row position in the AAC if things go perfectly. The Pirates kicked off the year with two wins before suffering consecutive defeats capped off by a 79-54 loss to San Diego State. The Aztecs led by 23 after 20 minutes and never were challenged with 49% shooting with more threes and free throws easily overcoming the Pirates 32% accuracy. Lance Tejada was East Carolina’s lone double digit scorer. Michael Zangari and BJ Tyson each contributed nine points and combined for 13 rebounds but the ECU offense needed more options.
The under is 7-1 in UALR last 8 non-conference games and UALR are 20-6 ATS in their last 26 Thursday games. The over is 6-1-1 in East Carolina’s last 8 overall and the Pirates are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 Thursday games while the under is 17-7 in their last 24 non-conference games. I just think the Trojans have more firepower…
