The #18 Notre Dame Fighting Irish look to stay perfect when they take on the Monmouth Hawks.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be looking for win number four in a row versus Monmouth and hopefully start climbing in the polls. The Fighting Irish did what they should have done against an undermanned Massachusetts Lowell and that was dominate both ends of the floor. ND pounded out an 83-57 win as they took a 14 point lead at the half and didn’t let up. The Irish won the shooting battle at 47%-38% but really pulled away with a 12-3 edge at the line and a 13-29 effort on threes. Zach Auguste paced the Irish attack with19 points and ten rebounds with Demetrius Jackson adding 15 points and five yanks. Stave Vasturia and Bonzie Colson netted 12 and eleven points

The Monmouth Hawks probably have their best team in quite awhile and we’ll see just how good they are when they face Notre Dame on Thanksgiving. The 2-1 Hawks improved to 2-1 with an 82-74 win at Drexel with a 51 point second half erasing a six point hole. This came down to which tam shot the ball better and that was Monmouth who held a 51%-44% edge. The Hawks received a game high 28 points on 10-17 from the floor from Justin Robinson followed by a 17 point effort from Je’lon Hornbeak. Chris Brady added ten points and nine rebounds with Micah Seaborn chipping in with eight points.
Notre Dame are 22-6 ATS in their last 28 Thursday games and are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 neutral site games while going 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The under is 6-2 in Monmouth’s last 8 Thursday games. On paper it looks like Monmouth is in trouble here with Notre Dame looking tough. I’ll back the points but will probably just watch…
