Colorado vs. Northern Colorado - 11/29/15 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Colorado Buffaloes won their 4th consecutive game and improved to 4-1 (0-0 Pac-12) on the season after defeating the Air Force Falcons, 81-70, this past Wednesday. Colorado held a 46-30 lead at halftime and was up by as much as 26 points in the 2nd half in the victory. Colorado shot 52.1% from the field and 52.0% (13-25) from beyond the arc. The Buffaloes allowed Air Force to shoot 41.9% from the field and outrebounded the Falcons by a 38-31 margin. Leading the way for Colorado was Josh Scott who had 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks. On the season, the Buffaloes have been led by George King (18.2 ppg, 5.4 rpg), Josh Scott (16.6 ppg, 8.8 rpg, 2.6 bpg), and Josh Fortune (11.0 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 2.2 apg). Offensively, Colorado is averaging 81.2 ppg on 45.8% shooting. The Buffaloes average 14.0 apg and are shooting 42.0% from beyond the arc. Defensively, Colorado is allowing 73.4 ppg on 43.6% shooting. The Buffaloes have a rebound margin of 9.2 and a turnover margin of -4.0.

The Bears are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Sunday games and 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games. The Buffaloes are 14-5 ATS in their last 19 Sunday games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss.

Northern Colorado lost three of their top four scorer’s form last year’s squad, however, offensive has not been a problem as their defense has been awful through their first 5 games. Colorado has looked good so far this season as they gave Iowa State all they could handle in the opener and have gotten great contributions from Josh Scott and George King. Colorado has been solid on the offensive end this season and as I don’t think the Bears have any answers for Josh Scott, I’m taking Colorado to cover this large spread at home. Take Colorado to cover.
