The Utah State Aggies make the long trip to the east coast to face the #3 Duke Blue Devils.
I know the Utah State Aggies are expected to make some noise in the MWC but they still have something to prove in my eyes as their 4-0 record has been built on soft competition. The Aggies are coming off of an 81-55 rout of Utah Valley where the lead was 13 after 20 minutes with the Wolverines held to 34% shooting. USU countered with 54.5% accuracy which totaled eleven more field goals. Chris Smith scored a contest high 17 points and snagged six boards followed by a 15 point, 14 rebound effort from Lew Evans. Jalen Moore netted eleven points but points were plentiful from a number of sources.

The Duke Blue Devils are once again national title contenders as new all stars replace the all stars that leave. The 5-1 Blue Devils have won three in a row after crushing Yale 80-61 behind a 42-25 second half scoring burst. The Bulldogs offense was limited to under 40% from the floor while Duke sank shots at a 48% clip and turned 19 Yale fouls in to a 17-7 advantage at the stripe. Matt Jones led a balanced Duke attack with 17 points on 7-11 from the floor with Brandon Ingram right on his heels with 15 points and five yanks on 7-16. Grayson Allen added 14 points, five pulls and five assists while Luke Kennard tossed in 12 and Amile Jefferson scored nine points and hauled in 12 rebounds.
The over is 14-3 in Utah State’s last 17 overall and the Aggies are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The under is 11-3 in Duke’s last 14 home games and the under is 10-3 in their last 13 overall while the over is 6-2 in Duke’s last 8 Sunday games. This could be a 25 point win but I still won’t lay the chalk and it probably goes up…
