The Tulsa Golden Hurricane travel to instate rival the Oklahoma State Cowboys in Wednesday action.
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane are penciled in as a top four club in the AAC but their pressing need is stopping a two game skid. Tulsa fell to 4-2 following a 64-60 loss to Arkansas-Little Rock as a ten point favorite. The Golden Hurricane had a nine point lead at the half but couldn’t score or stop the Trojans in the second half. James Woodard paced the Tulsa offense with 16 points and six pulls on 5-9 from the floor including four bombs with D’Andre Wright adding 14 points and six boards. Rashad Smith and Marquel Curtis combining for 21 points with Curtis posting six pulls.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys were penciled in as a middle of the row team in the Big 12 but they have been getting decent scoring and defense and the result is a 5-2 record. The Cowboys are looking for win number three in a row after Downing Long Beach State 79-73 on Friday. OSU held the 49ers to 41% from the floor while hitting 52.7% of their looks which was enough to get the victory. Leyton Hammonds led all scorers with 20 points and seven boards followed by a13 point, five pull performance from Jeff Newberry. Jeffrey Carroll added eleven points and seven rebounds with Jawun Evans chipping in with ten points and seven dishes.
Tulsa are 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 Wednesday games. Oklahoma State are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 Wednesday games and are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games overall while going 15-7 ATS in their last 22 home games. I’m not in love with this one and would probably need more points…
