The Air Force Falcons shoot for a road win versus the Ohio State Buckeyes in Tuesday action.
According to the experts the Air Force Falcons were doomed to finish in the bottom half of the Mountain West. However the Falcons have done okay so far at 4-2 after knocking off New Mexico State 66-64 in overtime on Saturday. The Aggies probably gave this one away with a 44%-40% shooting advantage but 17 turnovers which helped Air Force to 13 more looks at the basket. Trevor Lyons led the AFA offense with 17 points, five yanks and five helpers with Hayden Graham next in line with 16 points and seven boards. Zach Kocur added 15 points and six pulls and Kyle Broekhuis netted eleven points.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are supposed to be going through a rebuilding type of a season and that looks to be the case with the Buckeyes checking in with a four game slide after a 64-58 loss to #10 Virginia. The Buckeyes sank half their looks versus the tough Cavaliers defense while holding UVA to 44% from the floor. The difference was the Cavs sinking a few more baskets with ten more shots. The Buckeyes received 19 points and five yanks from Marc Loving with Keita Bates-Diop tossing in 15 points followed by a 12 point, eight rebound effort from Jae’Sean Tate but the remainder of the team struggled to contribute.
The over is 18-6in the Falcons last 24 overall. The over is 10-4 in Ohio State’s last 14 non-conference games and the Buckeyes are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 home games. School is still out on both teams in my view as both have yet to convince me of anything…
