The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks are trying to find some answers as the team stares at an 0-8 record. The bottom line is the Redhawks are averaging less then 60 points and allowing almost 80 points. Both trends continued in a 79-52 loss to visiting Bowling Green on Tuesday. The Falcons burned the nets at 55% and held the Redhawks to 32% from the field which added up to ten more field goals despite ten more SEMO looks at the basket. Isiah Jones was the only Redhawks player to crack double figures in scoring with 12 points on 5-13 from the floor while Eric McGill and Antonius Cleveland netting eight points apiece with Cleveland hauling in ten rebounds.
Once again I really don’t see trends that jump out at me and say take one team over the other but I have seen both play and the differences are substantial. I prefer the potential of Mississippi and hope they play well for 40 minutes and don’t go through the motions…
