The Santa Clara Broncs look for a road win at the expense of the Pacific Tigers.
The Santa Clara Broncs kicked off the season 0-7 but have now won consecutive games. Getting quality efforts at both ends of the floor has been an issue but the Broncs offense did come through in a 78-75 win versus San Jose State. SC sank half their looks and held the Spartans to 38% from the floor with SJSU sinking five more threes and eight more free throws to keep things very tight. Nate Kratch pumped in a game high 29 points and hauled in 12 rebounds with KJ Feagin adding 16 points, six boards and five assists. Matt Hubbard scored 12 points and Kai Healy chipped in with eight points and six boards.

The Pacific Tigers have probably been more competitive then their record but at the end of the day one win says it all with more of everything needed. The Tigers have lost three in a row after a narrow 70-67 loss to visiting UC Irvine on Friday night. Pacific held a 49%-44.6% shooting advantage which added up to three more baskets but the Anteaters turned 18 personals in to ten more makes at the stripe being decisive. Alec Kobre kept the Tigers competitive with a game high 24 points on -14 from the field with Anthony Townes tossing in 13 points on 6-7 while Jacob Lampkin netting another 12 points.
The over is 6-2 in Santa Clara’s last 8 overall and the over is 6-2 in Pacific’s last 8 overall. Pacific can certainly win this but neither stand out enough to forgo the points in my view…
