The UNLV Rebels are looking for momentum as Mountain West play begins so they tuned up for conference action with a 103-68 rout of South Dakota where they kept their foot on the gas for a full 40 minutes. The Coyotes shot the ball well enough at 45% but gave the ball away 19 times which helped the 58% and ten more shots which added up to 12 more field goals. Jalen Poyser leading the attack with 18 points with Ike Nwamu right on his heels with 16 points. Derrick Jones Jr. added 14 points and six pulls while Ben Carter and Jerome Seagears scoring 13 and 12 points respectively.
Fresno State are 5-14-1ATS in their last 20 road games. The over is 11-4 in UNLV last 15 vs. Mountain West and UNLV are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games overall while the under is 8-3 in UNLV last 11 overall. I don’t know which team has the edge at the start of MWC play so I’ll take the points….
