The North Carolina Spartans were a dangerous squad before star Tevon Saddler left the team which meant a lot of production went bye bye. The Spartans have lost four in a row where neither end the floor has been strong and that was the trend in a 96-63 defeat at North Carolina on Monday. The Tar Heels led by 19 at the half and their 44% marksmanship couldn’t compete with the Heels 55% accuracy 14 more free throws. UNC had six double digit scorers and UNCG had two with Franco Alonso leading the attack with 17 points on 6-10 from the floor. Demetrius Troy scored 14 points with three players adding between 7-8 points.

Ryan Sawvell tossed in eight points and Spencer Collins netted seven points but scoring and defensive stops were in short supply.
