The Line: Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans -10 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The surprising Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans shoot for another win when the UL Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns visit.
The Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns don’t have an impressive record at 5-6 but they have played a schedule that is tougher then most. The Ragin’ Cajuns have back to back victories after crushing Appalachian State 79-58. ULL built a 19 point lead at the half and never let the Mountaineers breathe on less then 33%. The Ragin’ Cajuns countered with 47.5% accuracy for eight more baskets and the easy win. Kasey Shepherd was high scorer with 19 points while Shawn Long added 18 points and 15 rebounds before fouling out in 29 minutes. Bryce Washington netted 12 points and Jay Wright contributed eleven points as the starters scored all but 12 points.

The Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans might not be the biggest story in the game but they have to be close as nobody could have predicted a 12-1 start. The Trojans have won consecutive games after suffering their lone defeat. Troy was a 67-61 victim as an 8.5 point home dog. The UALR defense shut Troy down on 34.5% shooting wand countered with 44% for a decisive four more buckets. Marcus Johnson Jr. pumped in a game high 22 points on 4-8 from the field with Jalen Jackson scoring 18 points on 8-11 accuracy. Marius Hill added eight points and 12 rebounds as the offense had balance and some explosiveness.
The under is 7-2 in ULL last 9 vs. Sun Belt and the over is 6-2 in their last 8 overall while the Ragin’ Cajuns are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The over is 7-1 in UALR last 8 home games and the under is 9-2 in UALR last 11 overall while the Trojans are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The underdog is 14-6 ATS in the last 20 meetings and the road team is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. I think Louisiana-Lafayette is better then their record and has some quality talent so I’ll take the points…
