The Washington Huskies go on the road to face instate and conference rival the Washington State Cougars.
The PAC 12 appears to be loaded this season and the Washington Huskies are one of those teams with a 10-4 record behind a top to offense 20 offense that averages around 85 points. The young Huskies squad has won three of four after downing Southern Cal 87-85 fueled by a comeback from a ten point first half deficit. The Trojans easily won the shooting battle 47%-33% but they gave the ball away 20 times and UW totaled 18 offensive rebounds which added up to 15 extra looks at the basket. The winning stat was Washington’s nine more free throws. Dejounte Murray was the Huskies scoring star with 29 points and five yanks with Andrew Andrews adding 24 points and six pulls. David Crisp and Marquese Chriss netted 13 points apiece and a combined 18 rebounds.

The Washington State Cougars have a strong offense and play just enough defense to go 9-4. The Cougars dropped their conference opener to USC but rebounded to knock off UCLA 85-78 as a four point home dog. WSU connected at a blistering 55% with the Bruins countering at 41% but staying competitive with 17 more looks at the basket. Josh Hawkinson paced the Washington State offense with 20 points and ten rebounds on 8-14 shooting with Renard Suggs and Que Johnson netting 14 points apiece. Charles Callison and Connor Clifford scored 12 and ten points respectively with nine players scoring overall.
