The Wright State Raiders might be flying under the radar with an 8-8 record as they have been playing well with wins in five of six. The Raiders didn’t look good in the first half against Horizon newcomer Northern Kentucky Saturday before a 33-19 run over the final 20 minutes set things straight in a 60-46 road win as a one point dog. The Raiders held the Norse to 41% from the floor and forced 13 turnovers to give themselves 13 more looks at the basket to make their own 44% accuracy golden. Mark Alstork tossed in a game high 18 points and snagged six pulls with JT Yoho adding 13 points and six assists. Joe Thomasson and Michael Karena combined for 21 points and 12 boards to round out the top contributors.
The under is 7-3-1 in Cleveland State last 11 vs. Horizon League. Wright State are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 home games while the over is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings at Wright State. The Raiders can be painful to watch and laying chalk with them is even more painful…
