The Salukis allowed the Bulldogs to shoot 52.8% from the field and won the turnover margin by a 13-7 margin. The Sycamores are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss and 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games overall. The Salukis are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win however, just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games.
Indiana State fell apart a bit in their 2nd half against MVC conference favorite Wichita State, however, the Sycamores have played well as of late including close losses to both Valparaiso and Evansville. Southern Illinois has been a major surprise this season as the Salukis have already surpassed their 14-15-win total and has been outstanding on the offensive end ranking 37th in college basketball in FG % and 68th in 3FG %. Southern Illinois has been outstanding, however, I think the Sycamores will be able slow down the Salukis offense and get big games from Brenton Scott and Devonte Brown to at least cover with the points. Take Indiana State and the points.
